JetBrains makes IntelliJ IDEA’s free features available for both non-commmercial and commercial use.
Download and Install IntelliJ IDEA
Section titled “Download and Install IntelliJ IDEA”-
Follow the instructions from the download page to install IntelliJ IDEA for your system using the method of your choice

Launch IntelliJ IDEA
Install Mermaid Studio
Section titled “Install Mermaid Studio”-
Open Settings and navigate to Plugins > Marketplace

Search for Mermaid Studio and click Install

Restart the IDE when prompted
Activate the Plugin License
Section titled “Activate the Plugin License”When you first use Mermaid Studio, you’ll be prompted to activate the plugin license.

Choose Start trial or Paid License

If using a paid license, select the license type (typically Subscription)

Sign in to your JetBrains account, or create one if you don’t have one yet

Complete the activation process
A JetBrains account is required for trial activation.
